DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A man has been arrested in the Hartsville area of Darlington County following a search that seized various drugs and weapons.
On Thursday, the Darlington County Combined Drug Unit executed the search. Barney Brown was arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine 3rd, Trafficking Crack 3rd, Distribution 3rd (2x), Possession of Weapon during a Violent Crime, PWI Marijuana, and Felon of Possession of a Firearm.

During the search, officials discovered over $15,000 in cash, approximately 2.19 grams of cocaine, 1.2 ounces of crack, two ounces of marijuana, a shotgun and a rifle.
This is an ongoing investigation. Brown is currently being held at the Darlington County Detention Center.
