A person was injured Monday morning after a car chased by police crashed in the Rosemont area of Sacramento County, officials said.

Several men robbed a marijuana business just before 5 a.m., Sacramento Police Department said. Officers responded to the robbery in progress in the 5700 block of Alder Avenue. The suspects fled in a vehicle and a police pursuit ensued.

The suspect’s vehicle crashed into another car, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said. Emergency medical services were dispatched around 4:48 a.m. to Manlove Road and South Watt Avenue. The uninvolved vehicle’s driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening major injuries.

Officers detained one suspect and at least one suspect is at large, Sac police said.
