DOVER — The Office of the Marijuana Commissioner has awarded 15 public open retail licenses in their lates lottery round, which was held Dec. 19.
Of the 15 applicants selected in the lottery, seven are from New Castle County, three from Kent County and five from Sussex County.
The selected applicants have each been notified by the office and will now move to a supplemental application phase as they prepare for conditional licensing.
Lottery selections are non-transferable and only active licenses can be transferred, which is in accordance with Office of the Marijuana Commissioner regulations.
The office will continue to share updates during the final licensing stages, and additional information is included on the office’s website at omc.delaware.gov.
