LAKE COUNTY, IL — A 53-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were arrested on felony charges for allegation they illegally manufactured marijuana at locations in Lake and McHenry counties.
Andrew H. Field, 53, and Emily Coleman, 28, both of Wauconda, were taken into custody last week following an investigation by the Illinois State Police Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group.
In November, investigators were made aware of illegal cannabis manufacturing happening at a warehouse in Lakemoor. During an investigation, they executed search warrants, seized evidence and pinned Field and Coleman as suspects, police said.
On March 5, officers also searched Milk and Honey Farm in Wauconda where the duo was arrested on charges of manufacturing/delivery of cannabis over 5,000 grams and calculated criminal conspiracy.
On Tuesday, additional charges of unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver over 5,000 grams and unlawful possession of cannabis over 5,000 grams were filed against Coleman and Field, according to police.
An investigation is ongoing, police said.
