WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office said two people were arrested after 20 pounds of marijuana were seized while serving a warrant on Sunday.
WCSO said deputies were conducting warrant service for outstanding cost warrants on Christopher Schubert near Toppers in Wagoner County.
After speaking to the property owner and obtaining permission to search a shed where Schubert was residing, deputies spoke with a woman identified as Chyanne Brown.
Brown told deputies Schubert was not on the property.
As deputies were speaking with Brown, they saw a large amount of marijuana and paraphernalia in plain sight. Deputies requested a search warrant, which was granted by a judge.
WCSO said around 20 pounds of marijuana were seized as well as several glass pipes containing controlled dangerous substance.
Schubert was taken into custody at his place of employment for the cost arrest warrant. WCSO said Schubert was given new charges for possession of CDS, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Brown was arrested for possession of CDS, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Schubert and Brown were transported and booked into the Wagoner County Detention Center.
