REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ)– Redmond voters passed Measure 9-177 and 9-178 this November, to allow marijuana dispensaries within city limits and add a 3% tax on all goods. While the law goes into effect on January 1st, Mayor Ed Fitch says the process will still take months before any businesses will open.

Along with dispensaries, Fitch says 2025 will be a big year. The Redmond police station renovations are complete, and construction on roads and the airport start in the new year.
