BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – On Saturday, Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley announced the arrest of three individuals on felony drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop and search warrant.

On Friday, March 14, Harrison County Narcotics Task Force Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Shriners Boulevard near Village Drive in Biloxi.

Investigators made contact with 26-year-old Terence Benard Benjamin, 24-year-old Isiah James Smith and 32-year-old Marvin Bryan Brumfield, all from Biloxi, and recovered a small amount of marijuana. After searching the vehicle, investigators found a handgun and 70 pounds of bulk marijuana in the trunk.

After further investigation, a search warrant was conducted at a home on Trailwood Drive in Biloxi. Investigators found 18 additional pounds of bulk marijuana, three rifles and other paraphernalia linked to drug distribution.

Benjamin, Smith and Brumfield were arrested and taken to the Harrison County Jail, each on a $250,000 bond. All three were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
