Ten people face drug-related charges after deputies allegedly find 1,500 marijuana plants at two locations in Lyon County.

Deputies say they found the illegal marijuana grow operation Wednesday after serving warrants in Silver Springs and Stagecoach in relation to a month-long investigation.

Authorities say they seized over 1,000 pounds of processed marijuana, as well as multiple guns at both locations and large sums of undisclosed money received as sales recently sent from this operation directly to Mexico.

The operation was conducted by Lyon County Sheriff’s Office along with Carson City Sheriff’s Office SWAT, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, Central Lyon County Fire Department, United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Nevada State Police Investigations Division, Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board and Battleborn Medivac. 

Deputies booked these people into the Lyon County Jail:

* Rocio Ibarra, 32

* Eddiberto Alvarez, 38

* Efren Sanchez, 18

* Angelito Mojica, 47

* Adriel Sanchez-Tapia, 27

* Norbert Flores-Sanchez, 19

* Bartolo Ibarra-Silva, 22

* Misty Wagoner, 53

* William Sherpard, 59

They face the following charges:

* Trafficking in Controlled Substances: Marijuana or Concentrated Cannabis (over 1,000 pounds)

* Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale; Unlawful Cultivation of Marijuana

* Maintain Place for Unlawful Sale

* Gift or Use of Controlled Substance

* Prohibited Person in Possession of Firearm
