Biting through the shellac cone top reveals the cake batter center. The cookie dough texture is perfectly soft — both melty and crumbly — and tastes like a confetti-style birthday cake. The texture of the sugar cone and the shellacked cap add their counterpoints to the soft, rich batter filling.
