BLACKWELL (KATV) — In back-to-back days on Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, Arkansas State Police made two separate arrests resulting in the seizure of more than 200 pounds of illegal marijuana.

On Friday, Dec. 6 around 10:30 a.m., ASP stopped a 2019 black Chevrolet Malibu at the 101-mile marker for a traffic violation. Upon a search, troopers uncovered 120 pounds of illegal marijuana wrapped in clear plastic bags.

ASP subsequently arrested the driver, 31-year-old Davian Blair of Oklahoma City, and transported him to the Conway County Detention Center and booked him for Possession with Intent to Deliver. He told investigators he was traveling from Oklahoma City to Pine Bluff.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, ASP Troopers pulled over a rented 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the same mile marker for a traffic violation.

A search resulted in the discovery of nearly 119 one-pound vacuum-sealed bags of illegal marijuana stuffed in duffle bags hidden in multiple areas of the vehicle.

The driver, 27-year-old Willie Revish IV, and the passenger, 29-year-old Amber Murphey, both natives of Virginia, were taken into custody and transported to the Conway County Detention Center.

Revish was booked on felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate a Crime. Murphey was charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
