Orange — Police in Orange say a traffic stop turned into a drug bust, with officers seizing drugs, prescription pills, cash and a gun, according to OPD Sgt. Isaac Henry III.
On Wednesday, January 8 at about 1:30 p.m., investigators with the police department in Orange saw the driver of a Dodge Charger commit a traffic violation. They stopped the vehicle in the 300 block of Strickland Drive.
A search of the vehicle uncovered three ounces of cocaine, 120 grams of marijuana, 5 grams of assorted prescription pills, a firearm, and cash.
The driver. identified as Cristhofer Rodriguez, 22, was arrested for the traffic violation (Misdemeanor C), possession of control substance PG 1 (Felony 2), and unlawful possession of a firearm (Misdemeanor A).
