Alex John and Joshua Jenkins were charged with seven drug offences between them dating from mid-2022 to January 1, 2023.
Both men were accused of possession with intent to supply cocaine on Queen Street in Carmarthen on New Year’s Day in 2023.

21-year-old John, of Lon Y Prior in St Clears, was further charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply on that same date, as well as being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis between July 10, 2022, and the date of his arrest.
Jenkins, 30, of Station View in Tumble, was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis between September 2, 2022, and January 1, 2023.
The pair had both previously pleaded guilty to all charges, but these pleas were on a basis.
The case came back before Swansea Crown Court on January 15, where prosecutor Brian Simpson said that neither defendant’s basis of plea could be accepted.
David Singh, for John, said that his client had now withdrawn his basis of plea, and accepted the facts of the case as presented by the prosecution.
Regan Walters, appearing for Jenkins, said the parts of his client’s basis that had been causing contention had now been removed.
Mr Walters added there had now been a two-year delay in the case coming to court.
Judge Geraint Walters adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared on each of the defendants.
“These matters always are serious enough to justify a prison sentence, but it will be a matter for the judge on the day,” he warned them.
John, previously of Water Street in Carmarthen, and Jenkins were re-admitted to bail, and will return to court to be sentenced on February 13.
