ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockford man faces multiple charges after officers say they found more than two pounds of cannabis during a traffic stop.
Eric Henderson, 30, is charged with obstructing identification, aggravated resisting arrest and possession with intent to deliver cannabis. He also had an outstanding warrant for violating parole.

Around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, officers pulled over a vehicle near Louisiana Road and Ridgeland Drive. Police claim Henderson was behind the wheel and gave them a fake name. When they asked him to get out of the vehicle, Henderson allegedly struggled with police. The department says one officer had minor injuries after the fight.
Henderson was eventually arrested and taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
He is expected back in court on the charges on Feb. 26.
