CANNABIS was seized from a driver and a stolen car was stopped by officers on their evening patrol.
Officers from Dorset Police Rural Crime Team had a busy evening on Friday, February 7.
The officers managed to stop and search a driver and their vehicle in the north Dorset area.
They said they managed to locate and seize cannabis from the driver.
The team also helped to stop and seize a Range Rover that was reported to be stolen.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: “We assisted a red squad response officer in stopping and seizing a reported stolen Range Rover in the Shaftesbury area.”
As well as this, the team conducted various enquiries and responded to multiple incidents.
The spokesperson said: “This evening officers from the team on rural patrol conducted enquiries into a rural burglary.”
They added they “responded to a report of intruders on a building site in the Witchampton area”.
