ERICSON, Neb. — A traffic stop in rural Wheeler County led deputies seize of more than 40 pounds of marijuana.
Wheeler County Sheriff Dale King said in a news release that his office, in conjunction with the Tri-City Drug Enforcement Team (TRIDENT), and the Greeley County Sheriff’s Office seized more than 40 pounds of marijuana.
They arrested a Wheeler County man during a traffic stop on Highway 91 east of Ericson.
King said a Wheeler County man will be charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance. No court records for the case are available.
This is an ongoing investigation with the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office and TRIDENT.
