A Moline man is in custody after a search warrant on a Moline home turned up over 15 pounds of THC and cannabis products.

Travis J. Warner, 43, of Moline, was arrested for cannabis trafficking and detained in the Rock Island County Jail. The Rock Island County State’s Attorney charged Warner with one count of cannabis trafficking, a Class X felony; one count of the manufacture or delivery of greater than 5,000 grams of cannabis, a Class X felony; and possession of greater than 5,000 grams of Cannabis, a Class 1 felony.

Five thousand grams is just over 11 pounds.

The Moline Police Department Special Investigative Group executed a search warrant Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the 200 block of 19th Avenue in Moline as part of a drug investigation. According to a news release from the Moline Police Department, during a search of the residence, detectives located 6,563 grams, or 14.5 pounds, of THC gummies; 1,420 grams, or just over 3 pounds, of THC cartridges for vapes, 217 grams of cannabis cigars, 69 grams of cannabis wax, 284 grams of cannabis flower and 12 firearms.

The Moline Police Department’s news release noted Illinois residents 21 years and older can buy cannabis from licensed sellers with limitations on the amounts of cannabis they can possess. Cannabis can not be sold by individuals.
