ROCK VALLEY—A 21-year-old Rock Valley man was arrested about 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest of Yahir Ivan Soto-Arguelles stemmed from a search warrant executed at his residence at 1010 Main St. in Rock Valley, according to the Rock Valley Police Department.
Police found a green leafy substance which field tested positive for marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia, which Soto-Arguelles admitted to possessing.
