Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible (previously called Edible Arrangements), has launched the Edibles.com marketplace, a wellness-focused ecommerce platform offering same-day delivery of trusted THC-infused products from leading brands like Cann, Wana, and 1906.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive compound in the cannabis plant (marijuana). It is responsible for producing the “high” or intoxicating effects associated with cannabis use.
The new Edibles platform aims to enhance consumer accessibility and redefine the THC marketplace through a curated product selection, reliable delivery, and a focus on consumer education. Digital Commerce 360 first reported about Edibles.com in October 2024.
In November 2024, Digital Commerce 360 published a two-part interview with Somia Farid Silber outlining her goals as the Edible Brands’ new CEO. Read Part 1 here and Part 2 here.
Edible Brands ranks No. 181 in the Top 2000. The database is Digital Commerce 360’s ranking of the largest North American online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales.
Edible Brands has officially launched Edibles.com, an ecommerce marketplace for THC products.
Cannabis industry veteran helps launch Edibles marketplace
The Edibles marketplace initiative is spearheaded by Thomas Winstanley, a cannabis industry veteran and former chief marketing officer at Theory Wellness. There, he helped grow one of the largest independent cannabis companies on the East Coast. Now serving as executive vice president of Edibles.com, Winstanley brings deep experience in product development and regulatory navigation.
“Edible Brands’ wellness-driven approach aligns with the evolving future of this category,” Winstanley said. “We are uniquely positioned to accelerate industry growth by combining trusted products, consumer education, and convenient delivery.”
The hemp industry, valued at an estimated $28 billion, remains plagued by inconsistent quality and lack of regulation, leading to consumer hesitation. Edibles.com says it addresses these challenges by partnering with trusted brands and providing consumers with a streamlined, transparent shopping experience. An integrated education center will help demystify THC products and guide consumers toward informed choices.
“Consumers are still navigating perception, education, and access challenges in this market,” said Farid Silber, CEO of Edible Brands. “Edibles.com sets a new standard by offering a trusted platform that simplifies the purchasing process and ensures quality.”
Edibles.com also offers an education section in an effort to promote safe consumption of THC and CBD edibles.
Launched in Texas, Edibles.com plans to expand into legal markets in the Southeast, including Florida and Georgia. Selected products will also be available for nationwide shipping where legally permitted. A flagship retail location in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood is slated to open soon, serving as a model for a potential franchise program.
“This is a defining moment for the hemp industry,” said Jake Bullock, CEO of Cann. “A platform like Edibles.com has the power to reshape the future of THC products and drive sustainable industry growth.”
