The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics seizes more than eight thousand plants during a marijuana bust in the Oklahoma City metro.
The agency says it seized the plants while serving search warrant at multiple locations, including a commercial marijuana manufacturer near Northwest Expressway and Rockwell, a residence along Northwest 149th and a storage facility in Bethany.
The bust is part of an ongoing investigation into illegal marijuana trafficking onto the out-of-state black market, OBN said.
In total, agents seized 8,623 plants and 350 pounds of processed marijuana, with arrests pending.
OBN says the agency received assistance from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, Oklahoma City Police and the District 1 Oklahoma County Commissioner’s Office.
Oklahomans can anonymously report criminal drug and human trafficking activity to OBN by messaging the agency on Facebook.
