GORHAM, Maine — The Gorham Fire Department said it responded to the second fire this month at a local cannabis grow facility.
At approximately 11:45 a.m. Saturday morning, a caller reported black smoke coming from a room at 7 County Rd. in Gorham, according to a Facebook post from the Gorham Fire Department.
Firefighters confirmed there was a fire in the building upon their arrival.
The fire was quickly found and extinguished, which prevented further damage to the building, the fire department said. Multiple towns provided mutual aid.
No injuries were reported.
The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the fire.
