Granby police executed a search warrant on June 2 at a residence on Le Corbusier Street as part of an investigation into illegal cannabis sales that could have been destined for minors.
The operation was carried out by investigators from the Granby Police Service’s ACCES Cannabis and Crimes Initiés units, following an inquiry that began in April 2026.
During the search, officers say they seized nearly 50 THC vaping devices, approximately 600 grams of dried cannabis, and trafficking materials including a cellphone and a scale.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains ongoing, and police say arrests and criminal charges related to cannabis trafficking could follow.
According to the preliminary findings of the investigation, a portion of the seized cannabis may have been intended for sale to minors.
The Granby Police Service thanked residents who provide tips, noting that community information is often essential to bringing investigations to a close.
