MEAD, Okla. (KTEN) — Agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics raided a warehouse in Mead, Oklahoma on Tuesday morning.
The agents — along with Bryan County deputies and Chickasaw Lighthorse police — swarmed the 70 Business Park on US 70 around 8:30 a.m.
Law enforcement personnel were seen pulling green plants from the complex by hand and then using loaders to deposit the seized plants in a series of dump trucks. The operation continued three hours after it began.
The Bryan County Undersheriff said marijuana was the target of the raid, but that was not confirmed by OBN agents.
KTEN was referred to a US Attorney’s office in Texas for answers about the nature of the raid and whether there have been any arrests.
The business park is home to a company that calls itself “Oklahoma’s most trusted and preferred wholesale cannabis supplier” on its website, but it was not immediately clear if that was the target of the raid.
KTEN was not able to find the name of the cannabis supplier in an online database of businesses registered with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority.
