Albany, NY — Albany County District Attorney Lee Kindlon announced, 34-year-old Shamar Robinson has been found guilty of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of cannabis following a trial on January 28.
Robinson was arrested by Albany Police on March 6, 2024, after a search warrant was executed at an apartment serving as an illegal marijuana shop as part of a violent crimes investigation.
Robinson is scheduled to be sentenced in Albany County Court on March 27 at 9:30 AM and faces up to 15 years in state prison.
