WASHINGTON (7News) — An illegal cannabis dispensary was shut down in Northwest, D.C. on Wednesday, September 25, according to the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA).

This is the fifth illegally-operating dispensary to be shut down by officials since July.

On Wednesday, ABCA officials along with Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers served a closure order to the owner of Flight Pass/Green Room in the 1300 block of U Street, Northwest.

The order came as a result of its continued operations as an unlicensed cannabis store which violates a previous Cease and Desist order, officials said.

Officers saw illegal products in plain sight while executing a search warrant at the store.
