PULASKI COUNTY (KATV) — On Thursday, Oct. 3, at approximately 9:38 p.m., Arkansas State Police (ASP) Troopers stopped a rented 2024 black Chrysler Pacifica on Interstate 40 going east at the 159-mile marker for a traffic violation.

Upon searching the vehicle, Troopers discovered five large trash bags in the rear of the vehicle containing approximately 136 pounds of individual vacuum-sealed packages of illegal marijuana.

The ASP arrested the driver, 34-year-old Hui Zhang of Flushing, New York. She told investigators she was traveling from Oklahoma to South Carolina.

She was subsequently transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center, booked, and charged with Felony Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal use of Property.
