Authorities have dismantled a criminal organization involved in cultivating hydroponic cannabis and distributing significant quantities of cocaine and unprocessed cannabis across Attica and Crete.
Seven individuals were arrested following coordinated operations by the Organized Crime Division and the Narcotics Subdivision. Investigations revealed that the group had established a fully equipped hydroponic cannabis cultivation lab in Attica, with over 1,000 cannabis plants seized.
Additionally, 1,765 grams of cocaine were discovered hidden in a vehicle near the port of Souda in Hania. Authorities estimate the organization’s illicit profits would have exceeded €1 million.
The suspects face charges including drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization.
