Flowering marijuana plants are on the cusp of being ready to cultivate.

A bill that would place additional restrictions on marijuana advertising has passed the Arizona House with bipartisan support.

It is legal to market cannabis on billboards, but ads have to label the seller. This new bill prohibits individuals or businesses from advertising to people under the age of 21, restricts social media and online ads, and bans advertising at airports and other public transit locations.

Republican Rep. Matt Gress voted in favor of the bill.

“This is high time we certainly regulate the advertisements on Marijuana and protect our kids and I vote Aye,” Gress said.

The bill now goes to the Senate.
