A cannabis cultivation was discovered and quantity of cash seized after a police raid in Irvine.

Police confirmed enquiries are continuing after officers searched the address in Sloan Avenue just after 8am this morning (Friday, September 6).

Cops confirmed to the Times that a cultivation of the Class B product was discovered along with an unspecified sum of money – with no details of any arrests

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20am on Friday, September 6, 2024, officers executed a search warrant at a property in Sloan Avenue, Irvine.

“During the search a cannabis cultivation and a quantity of cash were recovered.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
