A cannabis grow has been found in Whitworth.

On December 11, a “number of cannabis plants” were found on Market Street.

Offices say you can report crimes to them online or anonymously to Crimestoppers

A police spokesperson said: “Yesterday a cannabis grow was discovered by your local Neighbourhood Police Team on Market Street in Whitworth.

“As a result of information from the community, officers discovered the grow which contained a number of plants.

“If you have any concerns or information about crime happening in your area, you can report this to us by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency, online via our website report an incident – Lancashire constabulary – report online or anonymously to Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111.”
