[#item_full_content] Friday 23 January, 2026Cannabis potentially worth over £600,000 has been seized following a police raid on a drugs factory in Dewsbury.Enquiries remain ongoing by the Dewsbury Proactive Town Centre Team and Dewsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team after officers located over 1,153 plants in a large scale operation in Dewsbury town centre on Monday 19 January. The plants, which were at varying stages of growth, have been estimated to be worth a potential a minimum of £634,000 by experts.
