OXFORD, Miss. (WMC) – Two CBD store owners in Oxford have been arrested and charged with selling a controlled substance.

Tony Barragan, 48, and James Funk, 37, were both arrested on Monday.

The arrests come after an investigation into violations of the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act, according to agents with the Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Control Bureau of Enforcement.

If THC remains under .03 percent, it can be sold in stores across Mississippi.
