WESTFIELD — The City Council voted on Sept. 5 to accept amendments to Westfield’s host community agreements with three cannabis businesses.

All three passed with just one dissenting vote, from Councilor Nicholas Morganelli.

Community Development Director Peter Miller had explained to the council’s Legislative and Ordinance Committee on Sept. 4 that the state Cannabis Control Commission has adopted a model host agreement that differs from the provisions in Westfield’s community host agreements.
