CREOLA, Ala. (WALA) – The Creola Police Department said they have arrested a suspect for allegedly possessing fentanyl and marijuana.

Authorities said they were called to assist with a person who showed signs of impairment at a Chevron Gas Station.

After police said the suspect was taken into custody for public intoxication, fentanyl pills and a small amount of marijuana were discovered in the suspects possession.

Jordan Etheredge, 21, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree marijuana possession, and public intoxication, according to jail records.
