A 31-year-old Deep Run man was arrested after officers discovered ecstasy and marijuana inside his vehicle while patrolling the area of Jack Rountree Apartments.
The occupant of the vehicle identified as Charles Cox was charged with possession of schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Officers approached a parked vehicle with the door open and located Cox in the back seat of the vehicle. Officers say Cox began to make suspicious movements and refused to comply with law enforcement.
Cox was arrested after officers located 25 ecstasy pills and marijuana.
No bond information was disclosed.
