A DRIVER was stopped twice in one morning by police in north Wales after ignoring some sound advice.
North Wales Police say that the male driver, from the London area, was spotted by officers who were on patrol on the A55 at Caerwys this morning (February 8).
That was after his driving had ’caused concern’.
He was stopped and tested positive for cannabis before being arrested.
However, officers let him go and advised him not to continue driving on through north Wales, but to instead find other means of transport.

However, the man ignored their advice and was later arrested once more near the Bangor area.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “A male driver from the London area was sighted this morning by officers from RCU on patrol along the A55, Caerwys.
“His manner of driving caused us concern and he was stopped Male provided a positive swipe for cannabis and was duly arrested.
“He was heavily advised not to continue his journey towards the Western part of the force as he may still be under the influence, he was given several options for others to drive, a taxi or utilise the train services.
“The male didn’t take our advice and was stopped again by officers from our unit in Bangor.
“Funnily enough he tested positive again for cannabis and was arrested for a second time!!
“The male now has an anxious wait for two lots of bloods, potentially a longer disqualification and fines.
“We advise all drivers who are arrested for drug driving to allow time to pass before getting behind the wheel again, our advice is if you are going to take drugs then please don’t drive.”
