JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (CBS12) — More than 160 pounds of drugs and seven firearms were seized following a burglary investigation in Jacksonville on Monday.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) said its officers responded to a burglary in progress and uncovered a substantial cache of weapons and narcotics.

With the assistance of the Narcotics and Vice Section, officers obtained a search warrant and arrested 25-year-old Sean Reed.

Items seized during the operation included 167 pounds of marijuana, 37.3 pounds of edibles, 120.4 grams of marijuana oil, $7,660 in cash, and $10,000 in jewelry.

JSO says Reed now faces trafficking marijuana in excess of 25 pounds or 300 plants or more, possessing paraphernalia for the manufacture or delivery of drugs, knowingly own or rent a structure or vehicle to be used for selling drugs, and using or possessing with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Authorities noted that Reed had been arrested earlier this year on similar gun and drug charges.
