Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 6, 2025 – A “shots heard” report resulted in the discovery of marijuana and over $2,500 cash on Thursday.

On Thursday, Jan. 3, JPD officers were in the area of Belt Street and Melrose Street investigating a “shots heard” report when they heard a single shot come from the 2000 block of Cedar Heights Drive.

Officers went to the area and saw a parked car running in the parking lot of the apartment complex. They approached the car and found it unoccupied but with a large amount of marijuana sitting in plain view in the passenger seat.
