The number of cannabis dispensaries allowed under Godfrey ordinance is currently 4, but there appears to be an appetite to reduce that number to 1. The lone existing dispensary is located on the Alton / Godfrey border in the former Woody’s Chicken building, and Trustee Jeff Weber thinks that is plenty.
