The lottery dates for medical marijuana dispensaries in Kentucky will be taking place over the next two months.Gov. Andy Beshear announced on Tuesday that the lottery dates for dispensaries will be on Nov. 25 and Dec. 16 at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters in Louisville.Regions being drawn on Nov. 25: Region 3: Northeast Region 4: South Central Region 5: Cumberland Region 6: Mountain Region 7: Pennyrile Region 8: West Kentucky Region 9: Lincoln Trail Region 10: Northern Kentucky Region 11: Green RiverRegions being drawn on Dec. 16: Region 1: Bluegrass Region 1: (Fayette County only) Region 2: Kentuckiana Region 2: Kentuckiana (Jefferson County only)This lottery will follow the same format as the previous where cultivators and processors were drawn, with businesses being randomly selected.See a map of where the first 26 cultivators and processors will be located.Beshear also said that the Office of Medical Cannabis will be reopening the application portal for Testing Labs for November. This will be for safety compliance facilities only, he said.
