Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed proclamations certifying the medical marijuana ballot measures.He also reminded the public those proclamations are limited.In a joint statement, Pillen and Attorney General Mike Hilgers said there are still serious issues with the validity of the petitions under federal law.”The federal government has designated marijuana as a schedule I controlled substance. Under federal law, it is unlawful to either possess or sell schedule I controlled substances.
