SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (WLUK) — A man was arrested Thursday night for operating while under the influence and possession of marijuana.
Jason Wilder, 51, of Green Bay, was stopped by Wisconsin State Patrol troopers shortly after 5 p.m. near the intersection of County Highway DK at County Highway V, south of Sheboygan, for equipment violations.
After making contact with Wilder, the troopers observed signs of impairment and initiated an investigation. Wilder was subsequently arrested for his 5th OWI offense and a search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana. He has been booked into the Sheboygan County Detention Center.
Following his arrest, officials conducted a drug influence evaluation and a blood draw at an area hospital. The incident is still under investigation, pending results of the blood sample.
