JACKSON, Tenn.—-One unique festival draws a crowd to downtown Jackson.
The 420 Hemp Festival was held at the Amp Saturday. The festival began at 11 this morning and continued until 6 this evening.
The event brings together members of the community who share interest in Hemp and CBD.
The festival offers several vendors selling various hemp related products. There is also live music, games and food trucks on site. Guests also have the opportunity to sign up to vote.
This year’s event also had an egg hunt, where guests could search for prize eggs and meet a very special guest.
Organizers say the event was created in “celebration for legalization.”
“Important information that we need to consider about this event is legalization, and the bills that went through our legislature just this week are damaging to the hemp industry. We would love help to get the legislation turned around to save our industry,” said Kindall Thomas, organizer, 420 Hemp Festival.
The 420 Hemp Festival is an annual event in the Hub City. This is its fourth year.
