A city of Des Plaines building permit has been issued to a cannabis dispensary company for the purpose of opening a dispensary in the former Little Villa restaurant building on Wolf Road near Central.
The application calls for an interior build-out of the former popular eatery that closed in 2023. It had been run by the Mele family for many years.
Seeking the city permit is 660 N. Wolf Rd. LLC, which also goes by the name Supergood Dispensary.
Once the build-out work is completed, representatives from the state of Illinois will visit the site to inspect the premises. If approval is granted, the state then issues a license for the dispensary operation. It is not known when the business will open. The estimated value of the interior work is $550,000.
