Major Crimes/Blue Impact Arrests

[Jackson, TN] – On March 13, 2025, at approximately 6 PM, officers with the Jackson Police Department attempted to make contact with a male subject after he left a residence in the 100 block of Greenfield Drive. The subject immediately fled on foot, drew a handgun from his waist, and discarded the weapon, which was later recovered behind a residence on Greenfield. He was captured shortly thereafter behind another residence in the same block.

Upon arrest, the suspect was found to be in possession of 23.7 grams of marijuana. The firearm was confirmed to be stolen, having been taken during an auto burglary in Madison County on March 12, 2025. Additionally, the suspect had a Dodge key fob that was confirmed to belong to a stolen and recovered Challenger, which had been found in the 800 block of Old Hickory on March 12, 2025.

Another individual at the scene had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear regarding sentencing related to a guilty plea for attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault in Gibson County.

A search warrant was executed at the residence in the 100 block of Greenfield Drive, where another subject was found in the apartment. Inside, officers discovered a felony amount of marijuana and three firearms. Also recovered from the apartment was evidence of recent auto thefts and burglaries.
