LEDBETTER, Ky. (KFVS) – A man in Livingston County has been charged after being located with multiple baggies containing methamphetamine and marijuana.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, Deputy Caleb Kindred and Chief Deputy Devin Brewer responded to 161 Golden Meadow Drive in Ledbetter, Kentucky. This was in an attempt to serve a Parole Violation Warrant on William Dale Dixon of Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Deputies saw Dixon standing next to a white Buick SUV with its door open on the property and arrested him without incident. While placing Dixon under arrest, deputies smelled marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle.
A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located a black zipper bag containing five individual baggies of methamphetamine that weighed 143.84 grams or 5.07 ounces, two syringes, a small baggie containing more methamphetamine, a baggie with 8.56 grams of marijuana, and a cell phone.

Deputies also located and seized $1,240 in cash on Dixon’s person. The cash is believed to be proceeds from trafficking in methamphetamine.
Dixon’s charges include parole violation, trafficking in a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) more than two grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
