Lenoir County, NC — A Kinston man was jailed after Lenoir County detectives found meth and marijuana during a traffic stop on Friday, Sept. 20.

40-year-old Vincent Herring was pulled over by Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit. Officials say while searching the vehicle they found and seized 1 gram of methamphetamine and 2.2 grams of marijuana.

Herring was arrested and charged with felony possession of Schedule II and simple possession of marijuana.

Herring was taken to the Lenoir County Jail and received a $5,000 secured bond, per officials.
