The Kinston Police Department has arrested a woman and charged her after they say she provided marijuana to two children aged 5 and 6.
Stephanie Stalilngs, 46, was arrested on Wednesday, April 23, by Kinston Police Department’s Violent Criems Apprehension Team after an investigation into allegations that she provided marijuana to two young children, per a release.
Authorities say they responded to Mitchell Wooten Apartments after receiving a report from the mother of the children and conducted an investigation at the scene, which led to the arrest of Stallings.
Stallings is facing two counts of Sell/Deliver a Controlled Substance to a Person Less Than 13 Years Old. Stallings was booked at the Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond.
