There are a growing number of options for incorporating CBD and THC into your wellness routine. Whether you gravitate toward individual bodywork or collective experiences such as outdoor yoga, 2025 is shaping up to be a banner year for cannabis-related wellness. Here are just a handful of options across St. Louis.
Massages
Spa St. Louis, located inside Hotel St. Louis, offers CBD massages of varying lengths for individuals or couples. The messages are designed to promote relaxation and relieve muscle tension using balms and serums. They also incorporate elements of the spa’s signature massages, such as hot towels, aroma therapy, and Swedish techniques with a range of pressure. The spa also offers CBD-infused signature pedicure and mani-pedis, complete with a soak, scrub, and mask, as well as ending with a nail polish or buff shine.
CBD is available as an enhancement from many other massage therapists as well—just ask for the upgrade when scheduling. Or if you prefer to take a DIY approach, companies such as St. Louis-based Inner Alchemy produce salves, massage oils, and massage butters infused with CBD and delta-8 THC and blended with essential oils and herbs.
Facials
At Life Time’s LifeSpa, a hydrafacial treatment can be upgraded with a CBD add-on. Philip Johnson Salon‘s Soothing Solutions Facial is powered by CBD and ideal for sensitive skin, because its Glymed+ products are free of synthetic fragrances, phthalates, and parabens. All of the facials at Indigo Massage and Wellness utilize Color Up Therapeutics CBD skincare products, using high-purity, organic, GMO-free hemp oil. The express CBD facial can provide an introductory experience, or customers can choose the more intensive signature CBD facial, the rejuvenating dermaplane CBD facial, or the back CBD facial.
Yoga
Puff ‘n Pose Yoga cannabis-friendly classes from Introspectrum Events begin with a sip of infused tea or a smoke followed by a silent meditation, a 50-minute ganja practice (a new form of yoga that incorporates smoking cannabis during the postures to invigorate practitioners). Classes end with a sound bath savasana that allows the soothing vibrations to deepen the sense of relaxation and well-being. The company also offers other cannabis-friendly experiences ranging from paint and vision board events to tea ceremonies.
At the all-women yoga events hosted by STL Cannamoms, there might be a journaling session, a meditation, or a sound bath, but there is always a yoga flow. The group, which formed in early 2024 to create a safe and judgment-free space for mothers who use cannabis, also hosts reiki experiences, crafts, movie nights, and more.
Although Kind Goods Yoga Collective centers on combining yoga and small controlled doses of THC to enhance one’s practice while staying mindful and present, the collective is an umbrella term for an immersive experience that also includes food and beverages, vendors, and a variety of healing practitioners. The series of regularly scheduled events plays the dual role of prioritizing individual wellness and supporting local businesses.
Alcohol Alternatives
Participating in Dry January has become a popular way to reset after a holiday season, at the beginning of a new year, and beverages containing CBD and THC provide one alternative. Seltzers from St. Louis-based Mighty Kind also give your body a break from sugar and calories, with a range of cannabis infusions and dosages in flavors such as Heady Lemon, Violet Mango, and Cherry Blossom. Other locally made infused beverages include the Free Space NA CBD seltzer collaboration between Proper Cannabis, Mighty Kind, and 4 Hands Brewery; the CBD sparkling craft water from WellBeing Brewing; and the CBD sparkling waters from Zenly.
