LOVE COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) – Love County sheriff deputies, alongside the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET), served a search warrant on a suspected illegal marijuana grow operation located on Oil Springs Road yesterday.

According to a Facebook post made by the Sheriff’s Office, upon arriving at the scene, deputies secured the area and began their investigation. The search revealed approximately 6,000 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, confirming that the operation was illegal. The operation was then shut down.

The individuals found at the property were questioned but released, as they were determined to be workers with no ownership interest in the business.

The investigation into the owners of the operation is ongoing, and authorities have indicated that arrests may follow once the investigation is complete.
