The Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Ludington man for allegedly exchanging marijuana for assistance from a Verizon employee.

LUDINGTON, Mich. — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Thursday after he allegedly gave a Verizon employee marijuana in exchange for “helping him out.”

The incident occurred at the Verizon store located at 5495 US-10 in Ludington just after 1:30 p.m.

Authorities said the man, from Ludington, gave the employee 1.9 milligrams for his help.

The suspect is currently out on bond. The sheriff’s office said that possessing marijuana would be a violation of that bond.
